Dr. Silva Júnior received his veterinarian degree in Brazil at the Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). Abelardo is currently an Associate Professor in the UFV Department of Veterinary. He has experience in the field of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, with emphasis on animal infectious diseases. His line of research involves developing products related to veterinary vaccines, molecules and/or antiviral in nature compounds and implementation of molecular processes applied to animal infectious agents.
