Dr. Noratto received her food Science degree at the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, Lima, Peru. She is an Assistant Professor at Washington State University, School of Food Science. Her research program is focused on the role of food bioactive compounds in the prevention or progression of obesity and obesity-related chronic diseases with emphasis on changes induced by diet in gut microbiota and gut microbiota-host interactions.
