Srinand Sreevatsan, UMN

Dr. Sreevatsan received his veterinarian degree at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India. He is an Associate Professor of Infectious Disease at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota, USA. He is a veterinarian with advanced training in molecular microbiology, epidemiology, and diagnostic medicine. The principal focus of his research is to define the molecular mechanisms in the host-pathogen interface with special emphasis on evolution of bacteria and viruses and their adaptation to hosts.
